1. USER INFORMATION
Who is responsible for processing your personal data?
Mero Diving, S.L. is the DATA CONTROLLER responsible for processing the USER’s personal data and informs that such data will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).
Why do we process your personal data?
To maintain a business relationship with the user. The processing operations envisaged include:

Handling orders, requests, responding to inquiries or any type of request made by the USER through any of the contact methods made available on the DATA CONTROLLER’s website.

Sending online newsletters regarding news, offers, and promotions related to our activities.

What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?
Processing is lawful under Article 6 of the GDPR:

Performance of a contract or pre‑contractual measures: processing orders, requests, etc., at the USER’s request.

How long will we keep your personal data?
Data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing or as long as legal obligations require its retention. When the data is no longer necessary, it will be deleted using appropriate security measures to ensure anonymization or complete destruction.
Who do we share your personal data with?
Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless required for the development and execution of the processing purposes, particularly to service providers related to communications. The DATA CONTROLLER has signed the legally required confidentiality and data processing agreements with such providers.
What are your rights?
The USER has the right to:

request restriction of or object to data processing,

lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if they believe that processing does not comply with current regulations.

2. MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER
By checking the corresponding boxes and completing the fields marked with an asterisk (*) in contact or download forms, USERS expressly, freely, and unequivocally accept that such data is necessary to process their request. Providing data in other fields is voluntary.
The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to the DATA CONTROLLER is accurate and undertakes to notify any changes.
The DATA CONTROLLER informs that all data requested through the website is mandatory, as it is necessary to provide an optimal service to the USER. If all required data is not provided, it cannot be guaranteed that the information and services offered will fully meet the USER’s needs.

3. SECURITY MEASURES
In accordance with applicable personal data protection regulations, the DATA CONTROLLER complies with all GDPR and LOPDGDD requirements for processing personal data under its responsibility, and in particular with the principles set out in Article 5 of the GDPR.
The DATA CONTROLLER guarantees that appropriate technical and organizational measures have been implemented to ensure data security and to protect the rights and freedoms of USERS. USERS have been provided with adequate information to exercise these rights.
